Beachrider Boat Rides

This jet boat ride takes two thrilling laps around the lake in the center of Broadway at the Beach, performing exciting maneuvers like 180s, 360s, and fishtails. No reservations required! 

Broadway Carousel

Located near the newly-opened PopStroke in the Key West Village, the Broadway Carousel is a carousel decorated in a classical style that has been an icon of the area for decades. 

The Beast

One of the most extreme pendulum rides in the Carolinas, The Beast swings riders 120° from left to right, reaching heights of up to 125 feet above the boardwalk at 55 miles per hour! 

The Wave Swinger

This mellow but invigorating ride lets riders glide through the air 30 feet above the ground, secured in classic swing seats. 

The Moonraker 20

The Moonraker 20 offers riders the experience of high speeds and high spins combined, as the lifted gondola rotates on a 90-degree incline at high speeds both clockwise and counterclockwise. 

The Rock & Roll Express 

This new ride at Pavilion Park consists of a circular track with two dips and two hills, using centrifugal force to turn The Rock & Roll Express’s small track into a thrilling mountain slope adventure. 

The Riptydz Slide

The largest dryslide on the East Coast, the Riptydz Slide stands 80 feet tall and affords riders a speedy 200 foot journey down on a slide mat. 

The Speed XXL

Spin at over 50 miles per hour more than 125 feet above the ground on the Speed XXL! In addition to the ride’s large rotation, the seats on either end of Speed XXL’s arms spin independently for even more action. 

The Cliff Hanger

Ride in a new way with the Cliff Hanger! This lie-down ride at Broadway at the Beach reaches top speed and then lifts into the air to give riders the feel of hang gliding right here in the Pavilion. 

Broadway 360 Wheel

156 feet tall at the peak, the Broadway 360 Wheel lets riders sit back and relax while they enjoy birds-eye views of Broadway and the surrounding area. At night, the 360 Wheel showcases over a million multicolored lights synced to music. 

The Super Happy Swing

This large swing provides a family-friendly ride at Broadway that accelerates and adds more “air time” at the top of each swing before coming back to rest. 

The Scrambler

This classic amusement park ride spins individual cars clockwise, counterclockwise, and every way in between as the ride swirls around and around. 

The Mini Tea Cups

The Mini Tea Cups at Broadway allow riders to spin at their own pace as their cups glide in a circle around a teapot centerpiece. 

The Samba Balloons

This family-friendly ride at Broadway is outfitted with colorful spinning cars that look like hot air balloons, rotating around a brightly decorated centerpiece.  

The Rio Grande Train

Enjoy the Rio Grande Train with the whole family! There’s room for everyone aboard this ride for kids at Broadway that combines imaginative play with real-life mechanics and fun. 

The Myrtle Turtles

The Myrtle Turtle features four cars that spin in circles on a bi-level track, a perfect ride for kids and teens alike. 

The Monster Trucks

These kid-sized monster trucks pop wheelies and make authentic monster truck sounds as they circle an “arena” in the center of the ride. 

The Speedway

This whip-style ride offers an exciting experience for the whole family. Two-seater race cars follow a flashy oval track with real racing sounds and plenty of fun lights and music. 

The Merry Go Round

This classically-designed carousel features hand-painted Bradley and Kaye horses as well as benches so guests of all ages can experience the pure delight of a classic Merry Go Round ride. 

The Drop Tower

Take in the views from 65 feet above Broadway – but don’t get too comfortable! The Drop Tower lifts you up for a 360-degree view of Broadway at the Beach and Myrtle Beach before you experience weightlessness as the ride “falls” back to the ground. 

Best Restaurants at Broadway at the Beach

American Tap House

This chef-driven gastropub is known for craft beers and signature dishes like their Bacon Brie Burger. With 54 craft beers on tap and an impressive dining menu to accompany your brews, American Tap House is easily one of the best restaurants at Broadway at the Beach. 

Bar Louie

Bar Louie offers a casual atmosphere where you can enjoy delicious food, signature cocktails, and Southern hospitality. Serving up elevated bar food like poutine fries, classic burgers, and more, this is one of the best places to eat at Broadway at the Beach. If you’re looking for late night eats, Bar Louie is open until 2 am on Saturdays! 

Carolina Ale House

This chain restaurant has still managed to become a local favorite. Carolina Ale House is a family-friendly restaurant in Myrtle Beach that offers fare like pretzels and queso, fish and chips, chicken tenders and sandwiches, and more, plus over 60 beers on tap.

Melt

Melt is a locally owned and operated restaurant that specializes in wood-fired pizza, artisan grilled sandwiches, and specialty drinks. Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen

Paula Deen’s at Broadway at the Beach is a great family restaurant, offering family-style dining that features southern entrees, delicious side dishes, and decadent desserts. Open for lunch and dinner, this Myrtle Beach family restaurant serves up their delicious dishes with a view of Lake Broadway from their second-story dining room. The first floor of the building houses the Paula Deen Store, which holds over 3,000 retail items from the First Lady of Southern Cooking. 

Rooster’s Restaurant and Bar

Rooster’s Restaurant and Bar is one of the newest restaurants at Broadway at the Beach, making it a hotspot for vacationers who only find themselves in the area once or twice a year. Specializing in all things chicken from tenders, salads, and sandwiches to other dishes like classic wedge salads, cheeseburgers, and tasty flatbreads. Enjoy their Happy Hour specials daily from 4 to 7 pm! 

Señor Frogs

Known for their exciting atmosphere, interesting cocktails, and fresh Mexican cuisine, Señor Frogs at Broadway at the Beach has been an iconic piece of Myrtle Beach since 2005. Standard fare like guacamole, shrimp ceviche, enchiladas and fajitas, and tacos are taken to the next level at Señor Frogs, all served up with a view of Lake Broadway and the iconic 360 Wheel.  

Sweet Carolina’s

This local smokehouse and grill is home to the best meats in Myrtle Beach. Sweet Carolina’s offers everything from seafood and chicken to ribs and brisket, complete with sides like fried green tomatoes and fresh-made salads. Made-to-order skillet cookies, homemade chocolate pie, and key lime pie are the perfect final piece of a yummy meal! 

Wahlburgers

Walburgers invites you to get more bang for your burger at their Myrtle Beach location. Walburgers menu is inspired by real family dishes from the Walbergs’ kitchen, offering “family inspired, chef approved” dishes like housemade chili, bacon mac ‘n cheese, crispy chicken sandwiches, and piled-high burgers. For almost 30 years, Yamato Steakhouse has been a favorite for vacationers and locals alike. Broadway at the Beach Fireworks

Broadway at the Beach fireworks shows take place on Tuesdays and Fridays from early June to late August, then on special occasions through the end of the year. Tuesday and Friday fireworks shows begin at 10 pm, and are visible from anywhere at Broadway as they explode over the lake – though Margaritaville is a favorite viewing spot.
