Beginning June 11th, Hot Summer Nights at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk comes back to the Grand Strand. This annual event is fun free for the entire family! Each evening throughout the summer live music, activities, and more will take place at Plyler Park and the Boardwalk for vacationers to enjoy. All fun starts at 8 pm and includes the following:

Brookgreen Gardens Summer Music Festival | Pawleys Island | Ongoing

Sit back and unwind under the oak trees strewn with Spanish moss as you take in the musical delights offered at Brookgreen Gardens Summer Music Festival. Beginning June 19 bring your friends and family to the weekly evening festivals with live music and light refreshments for sale. Every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7 pm you can experience local and regional band play as the sun goes down. Admission to the festival is free with the purchase of garden admission ticket.

Brookgreen Gardens Summer Lights Festival | Pawleys Island | Ongoing

Take in the beauty of Brookgreen Gardens at it is lit up nightly throughout the summer. Inspired by the tradition of the Chinese Lantern Festivals, Brookgreen Gardens is transformed into a world of color and magic. The festival starts May, Wednesday – Saturday, running through August 19. Tickets are $20 for adults, $12 for children 4-12 and must be purchased in advance. Blue Crab Festival | Historic Little River Waterfront | May 18th & 19th

Get your fill of the best seafood at the 39th Annual Blue Crab Festival! Hosted on the Historic Little River Waterfront families can enjoy live music, entertainment, and all the seafood they can eat. The festival runs from 9 am – 5 pm, May 18th and 19th, and tickets are $4 in advance or $5 day-of.

Carolina Country Music Festival | Downtown Myrtle Beach | June 6th – 9th

Grab your boots and head downtown for the biggest event of the summer! Guests from far and wide flock to Myrtle Beach each summer to enjoy fantastic live music with a beachfront backdrop. Artists for the 2019 show include Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Dierks Bently, Alabama, Delta Rae, and many more. The 4-day event kicks off Thursday evening and runs through Sunday night. Tickets are still available through the Country Music Fest Website.

Water Lantern Festival | Market Common | June 19th

Behold the sight of thousands of lanterns lit up on Grand Lake in the Market Common! That’s what you’ll see and experience if you participate in the Water Lantern Festival this June. Tickets are $25 and include your lantern, a marker, and a commemorative bag. The festival will begin at 5:30 pm and lanterns will be lit and launched at 9 pm.

4th of July Events

·      Murrells Inlet Boat Parade (Thursday, July 4th): The area’s only floating parade? Be in Murrells Inlet from 4 pm—6 pm to watch colorful boats float the inlet.
