Beginning June 12th, Hot Summer Nights at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk comes back to the Grand Strand. This annual event is free entertainment for the entire family! Each evening throughout the summer features live music, activities and more. All the fun takes place at Plyler Park and the Boardwalk. Great American Summer Nights begins June 6th and takes place all summer long throughout Broadway at the Beach. This popular, family-friendly tourist destination boasts a variety of events for families in Myrtle Beach. Happening nightly from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., guests can stroll this vibrant entertainment district to see stilt-walkers, character appearances, acoustic entertainment and fireworks shows, as well as Mr. Nigel’s Strolling Dance Party. Get your fill of the best seafood at the 40th Annual Blue Crab Festival! Located just a short drive from Sea Crest Resort, this festival is hosted on the Historic Little River, South Carolina Waterfront. Families can enjoy live music, entertainment, and all the seafood they can eat. The festival runs from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., May 14th and 15th. Blue Crab Festival tickets may be purchased for $5 in advance online or at the festival the same day. Admission for children under 12 is free!
Grab your cowboy boots and head to downtown Myrtle Beach for the biggest event of the summer! Guests from far and wide flock to this Myrtle Beach music festival each summer to enjoy fantastic live music with a beachfront backdrop. Artists for the 2022 show include Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Chris Lane, and many more. The 4-day event kicks off Thursday evening and runs through Sunday night. Tickets are still available through the Carolina Country Music Fest website.
Behold the sight of thousands of lanterns illuminating Grand Lake in The Market Common! That’s just the beginning of the experience during the upcoming Water Lantern Festival in Myrtle Beach.
