SkyWheel – This monumental attraction is hard to miss. Located oceanfront along the bustling Myrtle Beach boardwalk, the SkyWheel boasts being the largest ride of its kind east of the Mississippi River. This ferris-wheel-esque ride offers spacious, climate controlled gondolas that can hold up to six guests at a time. Sit back and take in endless beach vistas as the SkyWheel takes you soaring over 180 feet into the air! Take a spin and then enjoy all of the other exciting downtown attractions. The SkyWheel is open throughout the year, though hours do vary seasonally.
Barefoot Princess Riverboat – Located at the Barefoot Landing marina, the Barefoot Princess Riverboat is the Grand Strand’s only riverboat tour. This exciting boat takes guests on a scenic adventure up and down the historic Intracoastal Waterway. Cruises vary between a lively sightseeing cruise, a scenic sunset cruise, dinner cruises for the culinary savvy, and even fireworks cruises during the summer. Myrtle Beach Pelicans Baseball – Stock up on peanuts and cracker jacks and take that special someone out to the ballgame! The Myrtle Beach Pelicans are one of the most popular attractions among visitors and locals alike. This local, minor league team knows how to keep a crowd entertained with between-inning entertainment, fun games and contests, and generous weekly promotions like Weiner Wednesday which offers $1 hotdogs all game long and Thirsty Thursday which offers $1 draft beer from 6pm – 8pm. New South Brewery – Hop on the hops train at New South Brewery. This tasty local micro-brew house is a favorite among beer aficionados and enthusiasts alike. Stop by on a Tuesday or Thursday to take part in a guided tour of the brewery, which starts at 3pm. The brewery is also hope to the public on Tuesdays, Thursday, and Fridays for draft tasting of current selections and retail sales where guests can stock up on essential beer gear and even a 6-pack… or two.
