What are the Check-In and Check-Out Times?
Our check-in time is 4:00pm. Our check-out time is 11:00am
Can I check in earlier?
Requests for early check-in before 4:00pm will be handled based on hotel availability. If you plan to arrive earlier, you can pre-check-in, and we suggest that you pack beach wear in your carry on so you may enjoy our pools or the beach as soon as you arrive until your room is ready. If you are planning to arrive very early in the day, we recommend reserving your room for the night prior to guarantee immediate access.
Can I get a late check-out?
Based on availability, we will make every attempt to accommodate late departures. Reserving your room for an additional night will guarantee access past scheduled check-out time. Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm late check-out requests until the morning of departure.
Do you allow pets?
Sorry, no pets are allowed at the Sea Crest Resort. The only exception is for service animals, as defined by the American Disabilities Act (ADA), who are trained to provide assistance to guests with disabilities.
What is your smoking policy?
Sea Crest is committed to providing our guests and associates with a smoke free environment. We are proud to be a smoke free facility effective February 1, 2014. This policy mirrors the industry's largest hotel chains. The initiative includes guest rooms, balconies, public areas, commercial spaces, and associate work areas. The majority of our guests favor a non-smoking hotel environment. The only way to provide this experience is to not allow smoking within the building. We do provide designated smoking areas outside the building to accommodate the needs of our guests that do smoke. All associates have been trained to respond to potential violations of this policy. For example, housekeepers are trained to observe signs of smoking in the hotel. There is a $250 fee for guests who do not comply. This fee is used to cover the extensive cost of restoring the room to a smoke free condition.
Do you provide beach chairs and towels?
In Myrtle Beach, the city rents beach chairs and umbrellas out. You can get pricing and items from the nearest lifeguard stand at 8th Avenue South. We do provide our guests with pool towels, but not beach towels.
Parking is scarce in Myrtle Beach, what is your parking situation?
We do have an onsite 7 floor parking garage. It is located directly across Ocean Blvd from our hotel building. There is a crosswalk on Ocean Boulevard for you to use. We do have unloading parking and check-in parking by the lobby. We are fortunate to be able to allow each room reserved with us one parking spot at no charge. Unfortunately, due to space constraints we are not able to offer extra passes above the one per room. We also are unfortunately not able to provide trailer parking on property. We do have handicap and high top vehicle parking. High top parking is for vehicles that are 7’8” or taller. We do have extremely limited parking by our Island Inn building which is on the same side of Ocean Boulevard as the hotel.
Do you rent to students?
Sea Crest is a family resort catering to families and couples. Room reservations are accepted from guests 21 years of age or older. Our hotel policy requires any guest under the age of 21 to be accompanied by their parent(s) staying in the room with them.
What is your cancellation policy?
Should a reservation be cancelled, the deposit is refundable if notice is received at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date. A service charge of $30.00 is applied to all refunds. Vacation Assurance can be added to any reservation for $29.95 plus tax. This protection plan will refund your deposit if you need to cancel up until 4pm the day before your arrival. If you must cancel after 4pm the day before your arrival, you would forfeit your deposit whether you have the plan or not. Vacation Assurance must be added within 24 hours of booking and is non-refundable.
What if there is a hurricane?
Each storm is normally handled individually. If the local, state, or federal government issues a mandatory evacuation, the resort will issue a full refund of your deposit.
Do you require a deposit to make a reservation?
Yes, we require a one night deposit at the time of booking. The balance for your stay is due at check-in. Cash, money orders, or credit cards are accepted at check-in. If you wish to pay off your stay in advance, personal checks can be mailed but must be received 30 days prior to your arrival date.
Do you have Wi-Fi or a Business Center?
Yes! We have wireless internet access available to our guests. You will be provided a username and password upon check-in. We also have a business center open from 7am-11pm daily with two computers and printers for our guests to use.
Do you have a restaurant on site? Is breakfast included with my stay?
Our Beach Java café serves breakfast in season and proudly brews Starbucks coffee. During the summer, we have a poolside grill serving a lunch menu. One of the most popular amenities at the Sea Crest is our Malibu Beach Bar which hosts live entertainment and karaoke in season. No meals are included with your stay but vouchers can be purchased in advance at a discounted price.
How far are you from the airport and do you have a shuttle?
We are about 2.5 miles from Myrtle Beach International Airport. Unfortunately, we do not have an airport shuttle but there are many taxi services that run in the area. Any of our guest services agents can assist you with hailing a taxi during your stay.
Is the waterpark included with my stay? What are the pool hours?
The waterpark and all of our 9 pool features are included with your stay. Our pools are open daily from 9 am - 11:00 pm. The indoor pools are open all year! The outdoor pools do close from October 31st - March 2nd. Our slide in the children's waterpark area is open daily from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm from April 1st - September 3rd.

Are there restrictions for the yellow waterslide?
Yes, the yellow waterslide is appropriate for children between 32-60 inches tall and under 300 lbs. We do have a children’s activity pool with a smaller frog slide for smaller children.
Are your pools heated?
Our indoor pool and indoor lazy river are heated to 85-86 degrees all year. Our outdoor pools are heated to 80-83 degrees from March 2nd-October 31st. The indoor hot tubs are heated to 100 degrees all year.
Do you charge extra for children or adults?
Our rates are based on 2 adults. For each adult over 2 in a room, an extra person fee of $11 per night plus tax is added to your total. We do not charge extra for children. Adults are considered anyone over the age of 16.
How close is Sea Crest to area shopping, dining, and attractions?
Our convenient Ocean Boulevard location puts our guests within minutes of all the things to see and do in Myrtle Beach. We are just over a mile south of where the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk begins. The closest pier is the 2nd Avenue Pier which is under a mile north of our property. We are just 4 blocks south of the Family Kingdom Amusement and Waterpark. Favorite shopping and dining destinations such as the Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, and Coastal Grand Mall are all within 5 miles of the property.
Are rollaway beds available? Do you charge for them?
Rollaways are available on a first come first served basis. We charge $10 per night plus tax for them. Please inquire about availability upon check-in.
Are cribs available? Do you charge for them?
We offer Pack ‘n Play playards on a first come first served basis. There is no charge for them. Please inquire about availability upon check-in.
Do you offer any discounted attraction or amusement tickets?

Do you have connecting rooms?
Unfortunately, we do not have any rooms that connect to one another from inside the rooms.
Can I request a specific room?
We have eighteen different types of rooms and for some of the room types we only have one per floor. While every effort is made by our staff to accommodate requests for specific room locations, this is not always possible, and specific room assignments cannot be guaranteed.
What do I need to bring with me to check-in?
For the most efficient check-in possible, when you arrive and go to the front desk to check-in, please bring your vehicle tag number, driver’s license or valid ID, and form of payment for your balance. If paying your balance in cash, you will also need a credit or debit card to put on file for incidentals.
Are fireworks allowed at Sea Crest? Are they allowed on the beach itself?
By law, fireworks are prohibited within the city limits of Myrtle Beach. So this would include our hotel grounds and the beach itself. However, in season and especially during holidays, there are a number of professional produced firework shows within 5 miles of the resort.
What is a resort credit?
We often have specials that offer guests a resort credit valued at a specific dollar mount ($5, $10, etc. per night stayed). This can be used to purchase food, grocery items, or gifts at any of our on-site outlets. It cannot be used to pay for room charges or redeemed for cash.
So you have 9 water features, what other amenities do you have?
Guests of the Sea Crest Resort have access to our guest laundry facilities, our business center, and our onsite fitness room. We also have an on-site convenience store where you can buy items you may have forgotten to pack, items to enjoy while you are here, or gifts to take home!
Does Sea Crest offer discounts or have specials of any kind?
We have one of the premier discounts in the area that we call our Early Booking Discount. All guests who book directly with us or on our website are automatically given this discount, and the earlier you book, the more you save, up to 35%! For more details about other specials, please click here.
Do you have any type of special for repeat guests?
All of our valued guests will be automatically enrolled in our “Free Stays Program” when you book and confirm your reservation with the hotel directly or on our website. You earn points for each night that you stay with us which can be redeemed on a future stay. There are blackout dates when free nights cannot be redeemed. For more details, click here.
What do your rooms have in them? What do the kitchens have in them?
Each room has free wireless internet, cable TV, a coffee maker, a safe for your valuables, an iron and ironing board, a microwave and more.
