Sea Captain’s House Restaurant
Classic, unforgettable dining in Myrtle Beach doesn’t get any better than the venerable Sea Captain’s House Restaurant.
This beachfront staple, located at 3002 North Ocean Blvd, started as a family vacation home in the 1930. You’ll feel that same sense of Southern hospitality when you sit down for your own unforgettable breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Sea Captain’s House, where families have been gathering since 1962.
Early risers can come enjoy an oceanfront view over their Seafarer’s Omelet, Crab Cakes Benedict, Country Ham and Blueberry Pancakes.
The lunch crowd can expect an exciting menu of mid-day dishes. Kick off your meal with something small and seaworthy, such as McClellanville Crab Dip, Sea Island Shrimp and Chilled Crab Remoulade. Try a Crab Cake Sandwich, a Carolina Shrimp and Oyster Po-Boy or a Flounder Sandwich, all served with your choice of french fries or pasta salad. If you’re looking for a recommendation, try one of the Captain’s Favorites: the Jambalaya, the Low Country Crab Casserole and the Fresh Baked Quiche of the Day all come with high praise.
Date night promises to be unforgettable with a dinner at Sea Captain’s House. Make sure to sample the traditional seafood, from the Sea Scallops to the half-pound Rock Lobster to the Traditional Shrimp and Grits. If it’s too tough to decide, enjoy the shrimp, scallops, flounder and oysters piled high on the Seafood Platter.
Are you a bigger fan of turf than surf? Dine on the Ribeye Steak or House-Aged Filet Mignon. You can also try the Chicken Oscar, the Grilled Pork Chops or the Sauteed Breast of Chicken.
Kids can also enjoy their own special fare, like a French Toast Breakfast, Hamburger Steak and Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly.
Of course, your trip to the Sea Captain’s House isn’t truly complete until you’ve had dessert. Sweet treats range from Hummingbird Cake to Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie to Creme Brulee.
