Carolina Opry – Ongoing

The Carolina Opry’s annual Christmas Show is affectionately referred to as “The Christmas Show of The South” – and for good reasons! This upbeat holiday performance features special guest performers, like La Toya London and Colton Cason, and popular ongoing performers like, Tangena Church, in a festive celebration. This upbeat show will keep you singing along the whole time. The Christmas Show runs through the end of the year.


Alabama Theater – Ongoing

Head to Barefoot Landing and get tickets to see “The South’s Grandest Christmas Show” at The Alabama Theater. This year’s show combines a spectacular array of performers, festive props, colorful costumes, and – of course – plenty of festive entertainment. The cheerful performance combines traditional Christmas classics with more contemporary holiday favorites and is ideal for guests of all ages. This show runs through the end of the year


The Palace Theater – Ongoing

The Hot Jersey Nights Christmas Special combines the classic music of Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons with all of your holiday favorites. This new show features four of the best vocalists along the east coast as they come together to give guests a truly sensational experience. Hear classics like “Walk Like a Man” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry” mixed in with festive ballots like “White Christmas”.  This show runs through Christmas.


A Christmas Carol – Friday, November 29th – December 22nd

Kick off Christmas right with a trip to the Atlantic Stage Theater any time between November 29th and December 2nd to experience this festive holiday tale. A Christmas Carol is a classic story about a miserly man named Scrooge and his run in with 3 Christmas ghosts. Throughout the story, he realizes the error of his ways and is given a second chance to become a more loving, compassionate. This play is a tradition for many and it can be part of your holiday tradition too!


The Nutcracker – Friday, December 6th – 8th

The Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre, a local performing arts group, has just announced the date for their annual performance of The Nutcracker. The performance will include colorful handmade scenery and props, eye catching costumes, lively musical accompaniment, and beautiful choreography. This show offers several times throughout the first weekend in December. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children and seniors.
