Guest Pick: Favorite Myrtle Beach Restaurant

04/22/2015
People are always asking us, “What’s the best restaurant in Myrtle Beach? What do you recommend?”
Well, instead of telling you what WE like, we decided to see what other Myrtle Beach guests had to say.
We asked our loyal Sea Crest Resort Facebook Fans what their favorite Myrtle Beach restaurant was and here’s what they had to say:

“River City Café…. Love the burgers!” – Lydia H.

Burgers in Myrtle Beach

We couldn’t agree more! River City Café is a local chain that offers several locations throughout the Grand Strand. Known for “bigger than your head” burgers, variety is what differentiates this burger joint from the rest, with over 25 unique selections that range form classic to creative. They also offer other options like chicken or turkey burgers, gourmet hotdogs, and fried baskets for those in the mood for something different. Call (843) 448-1990 for the Myrtle Beach 21st Avenue location.

“Sea Captain’s House for fresh seafood.” – Jim P.

Fresh seafood is just what we’d recommend at Sea Captain’s House. This oceanfront eatery has been a Myrtle Beach tradition for almost 100 years and shows no sign of slowing down any time soon! Classic seafood entrees made with local products are what you can expect and catches vary daily with what’s caught. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there are plenty of opportunities to try out this area favorite! Call (843) 448-8082 for more information.

“We love the tacos and nachos at Nacho Hippo.” – Julia R.

Nacho Hippo Mexican Cantina is just the place for gourmet tacos and other south of the border fare. Located within the scenic Market Common venue, this affordable restaurant serves up tasty treats like tacos, quesadillas, soups and salads, appetizers, and famous heaping nacho plates. Nacho Hippo also offers $3 fresh squeezed margaritas daily, making it easy to wash down your favorite treat. Call (843) 839-9770 for more information.

“Ultimate California Pizza is our favorite pizza joint while on vacation!” – Alyssa M.

“UCP”, as it is commonly known among locals, is consistently voted “best of the beach” and after one bite you’ll see why! The pizza here is, well, whatever you want it to be! Guests can choose from several of Ultimate California Pizza’s signature pizzas or design their own signature concoction. Guests can also choose a whole-wheat crust or a gluten free crust. Friendly, fast, and affordable – that’s what UCP does best. Call (843) 626-8900 for the Kings Highway location in central Myrtle Beach.

Excellent choice, Jane! If you are looking for a lively atmosphere, great grub, and tasty drinks, make plans to head over to Margaritaville, conveniently located at Broadway at the Beach. Inspired by Jimmy Buffet himself, the king of the beach lifestyle, Margaritaville offers fantastic burgers and other classic beach fare like fish & chips, coconut shrimp, fish tacos, and more. Steak in Myrtle Beach

Did someone say steak? That’s right! The best steaks on the strand, in fact! Angelo’s Steak & Pasta is a favorite among visitors and locals alike, and it’s not hard to figure out why. This classic Italian eatery offers several hand-cut selections of prime steak that are served on piping hot plates that sizzle when they are brought out. As if that wasn’t enough, Angelo’s also offers a full home-style Italian menu and a full Italian buffet. There’s something for everyone at this beach favorite!
